The primary responsibilities of this position are the development and implementation of Forum’s regional marketing strategy from inception through execution and measurement in our European and Middle East markets. The role requires strategic and analytical thinking to recommend marketing programs and investments to increase lead generation and brand awareness in EMEA and the tactical abilities to directly implement the programs. The Regional Marketing Manager will partner with Forum’s regional leadership and sales team to develop new regionally-based marketing campaigns and communications based on feedback, metrics, trends, new ideas and strategic insights.
This role will partner with global peers to define and execute our global marketing strategy in a manner that is most relevant to the EMEA markets and audience.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Develop and execute regional marketing strategy and activities, with a priority on developing Marketing Qualified Leads for the sales team
- Build and maintain a strong bridge between Regional Sales and Marketing. Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure messaging and activities are aligned around customer needs.
- Create persona-based messaging and content to position Forum’s research-based IP, thought leadership and solutions.
- Contribute to annual global marketing strategy and budget development and work in consultation with leadership across Forum’s EMEA Sales and Delivery teams
- Implement marketing activities: email campaigns, webinars, partnerships, conferences and other activities
- Build and implement go to market strategy to develop new markets when required
- Leverage Eloqua to implement campaigns
- Provide analytical feedback and insights based on metrics and anecdotal feedback. Present quarterly/annual analysis to key stakeholders, along with recommendations on how to increase KPIs
- Webinar planning and execution – including topic and content development, marketing campaign management
- Evaluate and manage external relationships (PR, conference organisers, webinars, agencies and other partners.) to maximise the relationship, business results and investment
- Contribute to the expansion of Forum’s social media efforts (Forum blog, external blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Slideshare, etc.)
- Provide marketing insight and support in aid of strategic account development as required
- Research and submit Forum and/or Forum clients for industry awards and merits
- Other duties, as assigned

Required Skills
A self-starter able to work independently as well as be part of a (globally distributed) team is what we are seeking. Ability to interpret and communicate Forum’s differentiations, intellectual property (IP) and product offerings effectively for the UK, European and Middle East markets is required. International marketing experience is strongly desired. Must be able to work both collaboratively and independently and manage multiple projects at various levels of completion simultaneously. Highly effective and relevant communication skills- written and verbal/presentation are required. Strong project management and analytical skills; detail-oriented and highly organized; proactive.
The successful candidate must demonstrate an understanding of marketing automation. The ability to perform analysis and create recommendations from marketing data is required. Social media savvy is required for this role. Previous experience using both Salesforce.com and Eloqua is strongly desired.
Required Experience
The role requires a university degree, preferably with CIM certification. 7+ years of strong B2B marketing experience with progressive responsibilities, exhibiting a strong understanding of B2B marketing best practices and strategies for professional services, ideally including brand marketing, effective lead nurturing techniques, Web-based and social media marketing.
Successful candidates will have experience building a marketing plan and campaigns, in addition to the proven ability to execute tactics and measure performance.
A passion for B2B marketing and proven success generating leads among large multinational organisations. Prior experience in the L&D industry is desired, and demonstrating a solid understanding of Forum’s business, our clients, industry trends and issues is a key metric of success for this role.
