I have a general question on Lead / Campaign feeding to Salesforce.com.
The way I understand it, Lead in SFDC has a magic write-only field on Lead called CampaignID. That field can't be read and can't be updated. On insert to Lead, it causes the automatic creation of a CampaignMember record and associated the new Lead with the pre-existing Campaign.
Is this Lead.CampaignId field used when pushing Leads from Eloqua -> Salesforce? Can it be used? Is it inaccessible?
Next question,
If I have a Lead an Eloqua and it's associated with another Campaign, how is that pushed to SF? Does the Eloqua->SF feed have to be programmed to create a CampainMember record?
